Writ against Bruce Brightmore
2nd February 1880To Bruce Brightmore late of Brinsworth in the County of York, Farmer.
In the High Court of Justice, England Chancery Division, Vice Chancellor Hall, Re Matilda Unwin's Estate, Unwin and others, Plaintiffs Brightmore (Defendant 1879. U 56)
Pursuant to an Order made in the above Action dated the 25th day of March 1880. Take Notice that William Unwin and others, Infants by Robert Matthias Thompson their next friend have commenced an Action against you in the above Division of the said Court by Writ and under Seal dated the 17th of December 1879 endorsed for the administration of the Estate of the said Matilda Unwin deceased.
And that you are required within 14 days after the date of this notice to cause an appearance to be entered in the said Action for you at the proper office in the Chancery Division of the said Court and that in default thereof the said Plaintiffs will proceed in such Action against you as by default and that you will be liable to have judgement given against you in your absence.
