Edith Owen was a native of Brampton-en-le-Morthen. At the age of 34, she married William Walker from Treeton. They lived at Grange Cottage Brampton.

She was well known in the district having been on the postal staff at Thurcroft for eight years.

She died aged 44 years and the internment took place in Thurcroft Cemetery after a service conducted in Brampton Methodist Chapel by the Rev. J. Jennings.

Walter WALKER was born in 1875, he married Mary Elizabeth REVILL (known as Polly) , daughter of Thomas Revill and Elizabeth (Nee Maxfield), at Treeton on 14th November, 1899.

Witnesses at the marriage were James, Eva and Thomas Revill and Ada FOWLER.

They moved to Ulley where the family have farmed Ulley Beeches & Brampton for 80 years.
